We got our first major storm of the year. Anthony thought it was the greatest thing ever. He took off his gloves and hat and of course started eating the snow.
I decided to take Anthony to the mall to see Santa arrive in a helicopter. I had been trying to explain to him that Santa rides a sleigh that his reindeer pull, but for fun he was going to ride in the helicopter that day. After seeing Santa arrive by helicopter at the mall, a few days later we were watching Thomas the train (pretty lame show... I'm not sure why kids like it so much). In the Christmas episode how did Santa arrive? You guessed it, by helicopter. What are we teaching our kids these days?

Riding the train around the Santa exhibit was certainly the highlight for Anthony.
When Santa asked him what he wanted for Christmas Anthony shouted, "an elephant." Yeah- not sure where that one came from. He never once has talked about elephants.

That is weird that they had Santa show up in a helicopter. Andi loves Thomas too, and both the Walters are slightly obsessed with him ;)

What a fun outing!! I can't believe how cute that Santa picture is!! A beautiful set up. Love the fan in the corner-- an attempt to spare the kids from too much halitosis inhalation? (That is all I remember about sitting on Santa's lap as a kid- isn't that sad?!)

My favorite is your first "storm" pictures.... ours was about 2 feet of snow, -28 degrees, and wind chills down to -51... oh yeah, and snow drifts taller than MY CAR! :) Merry christmas- the family is looking amazing!
can you believe we both have 2 kids??? crazy! i can't believe how popular having boys is in the west. girls are quite popular out here on the east.

I can't believe how calm Anthony was with Santa. Mine are still freaked of him. I guess boys are a bit more macho.
